FREE Park Service Jazz Tour of New Orleans - by bicycle
On Saturday, September 24th, the National Park Service (NPS) is leading a FREE jazz tour of New Orleans by bike. The tour begins at Armstrong Park and ends at the US Mint. The route follows the Lafitte Greenway to City Park and returns to the French Quarter via Esplanade Ave. At various points along the ride, NPS rangers will stop to talk about the history of Jazz in New Orleans. Upon conclusion of the bike tour, there will be a free jazz concert on the 3rd floor of the US Mint.
While the tour is free, the Park Service is NOT providing bikes. If you need a bicycle or if your bike needs repairs, stop by RideTHISbike today. We sell, service and rent bikes and will be happy to serve you. Just don't wait to the morning of the 24th because it will then be too late.
