Giatex: The Only Variable Length Bike

Sizing is one of the most critical factors in riding a bike. To really enjoy bicycling, the distance between the handlebars, saddle and pedals has to be just right (which is why most bike makers offer models in several sizes). Fortunately, Giatex came up with a way that one bike can suit the sizing needs of most people.

How It Works
The top tube of the Giatex is actually 2 metal tubes. One is sleeved into the other so that the distance between the front and rear wheels is adjustable. Just unlock 2 quick releases, adjust the top tube length as desired, then lock the releases. Presto. The result is that anyone from a 6'3" tall adult to a 9 year old can ride the bike comfortably.

Rolls Easily When Folded
Unlike most folding bikes, the Giatex rolls VERY easily when folded. Simply shorten the length of the top tube, lock the quick releases and roll. Since the folded bike is rolling on the tires, you arms will never become exhausted from rolling the Giatex down a hallway, aisle or train platform and you still have full use of the brakes if need be.

3 Speeds & Virtually Maintenance Free
The Giatex PNY comes with the 3 speed Sturmey Archer internally geared hub. Since neither the gears nor the derailleur are exposed to the weather, the drive train lasts much longer (and requires less maintenance) because less components are exposed to road grit. You can also switch gears whether moving or stopped.
