Standardized Parts

The X50 rides like any hard-tail mountain bike with a suspension fork, using standard mechanical parts that are available in virtually any bike shop. When you eventually wear out a tire, brakes, etc, you'll have no problems maintaining it.

Military Frames

Like all Montague mountain bikes, the frame on the X50 is the same as those used on Montagues used by the US military for close to 20 years. Made to withstand high altitude parachute drops, these frames are exceptionally sturdy and can endure riding on any surface.

How It Folds

The frame is composed of the rear triangle and a single, oversized top tube. The top tube is pressed onto the seat tube. Open a quick release and bearings within the top tube allow the front portion of the bike to swing back against the rear wheel. Remove the front wheel via the preset Clix quick release and the bike can fold to less than half its unfolded size.Girl with a X50 folding bike
