Over the course of working on the Mississippi River Trail ground truthing project and the Great Bike Trails portion of RideTHISbike.com, a number of riders have expressed interest in riding with others. Specifically, there seems to be a fair amount of interest in weekend group events that would combine an over night at a hotel, b&b or camping in a state park.
As someone that has participated in a variety of group and solo destination cycling tours, I'd like to hear from other cyclists that would be interested in spending a weekend exploring a world class cycling route. Given that there is sufficient interest in tours like these, I'd be happy to devote a section of RideTHISbike.com to promoting and reporting on such tours.
