The Brompton S1E type is a 1 speed Brompton outfitted with flat handlebars. This is the Brompton folding bike in its simplest, most classic form. Whether you only ride when it's dry outside or want a light Brommie without the extra costs of titanium, this is the right choice.

Eazy Wheels

This Brompton is fitted with Eazy Wheels, soft rubber roller wheels which roll more readily and last longer than the standard issue roller wheels that Brompton offers. Although the Eazy Wheels come at a small upcharge, they do add to the bike's practicality as the Eazy Wheels roll with less friction, allowing you to pull your folded Brompton through the halls of your office, apartment building, university, transit station, etc. with ease.

Is this Brompton for you?

Personal transport made in London Brompton's straight handlebars offer the shortest height available. Whether you like to ride aggressively or are less than 5' 6" in height, this could be the perfect Brompton for you. Then again, you may want different handlebars, more gears, fenders, a different finish, etc. While we can make such changes, it may be more suitable to have Brompton custom-build a bike for you because parts and labor charges can add up. How To Unfold

Open the folded pedal. Raise the seatpost to your preset height (as your dealer, we set this at your bike fitting). Unfold the handle bars and hand tighten the quick release. Unfold the main frame assembly and hand tighten its quick release. Un-tuck the rear wheel assembly from beneath the bike frame by lifting the bike from the rear of the saddle.
