Standardized Parts

The Paratrooper rides like any hard-tail mountain bike with a suspension fork, using standard mechanical parts that are available in virtually any bike shop. When you eventually wear out a tire, brakes, etc, you'll have no problems maintaining it.

Military Frames & Specs

Like all Montague mountain bikes, the frame on the Paratrooper is the same as those used by the US military for close to 20 years. Made to withstand high altitude parachute drops, these frames are exceptionally sturdy and can endure riding on any surface. What sets the Paratrooper apart is that components are military spec too. With double wall rims, an oversized handlebar stem and parts that have proven to work well in the field, you can't go wrong with the Paratrooper.

How It Folds

The frame is composed of the rear triangle and a single, oversized top tube. The top tube is pressed onto the seat tube. Open a quick release and bearings within the top tube allow the front portion of the bike to swing back against the rear wheel. Remove the front wheel via the preset Clix quick release and the bike can fold to less than half its unfolded size.
