Miami Valley, Ohio Cycling Trails

Last
week, I tweeted about an extension of the Miami
Valley trail system near Milford, OH (@RideTHISbike:
Urbana,OH: Construction of 16-mile bike trail
extension to start in Spring and cost @ $800k
http://ht.ly/ikWGu).
This
week, RideTHISbike reader Thomas K. suggested
I write more about the trail system. As I have
yet to personally ride these trails, I thought
it best to quote him here.
Regarding
the webpage http://www.ridethisbike.com/great_bikeways_worldwide.htm,
in Ohio, you should add the bicycle system around
Dayton OH that includes over 330 miles of interconnected
trails that reach from Troy (north), Springfield
(northeast), Chillicothe (east), Milford (southeast),
Franklin (south), and Darke county (northwest).
Primary developer is the MVRPC (Miami Valley Regional
Plannig Commission) and primary caretaker is Five
Rivers Metroparks.

If
any other readers have the opportunity to ride
on these trails, I welcome your feedback too
and will be happy to post that here as well.
