Share harmony with woodland sanctuary at Garden Guest House, a private house (circa 1905) in a serene and romantic setting amid 10 acres of bayou woodlands in Slidell, La. The grounds are landscaped with huge azaleas, camellias, and gardenias and surrounded by ancient live oaks, magnolias, tung oil and pine trees. Favorite guest activities include bird watching; wandering the meandering nature trails through the acres of woods; smelling the fragrances of honeysuckle, jasmine, or gardenias; relaxing on one of the large decks; lounging in one of the living rooms with floor to ceiling glass walls and browsing the art galleries of historic Slidell and Covington.
