About The Ground Truthing Project Survey
To help ground truthing volunteers provide information about the Mississippi River Trail in a consistent manner, the MRT has created a Ground Truthing Survey Questionnaire. The survey contains a specific list of questions to answer about the segment(s) of the MRT that a volunteer has agreed to ground truth.

Following are links to the 3 pages of the survey questionnaire. All 3 pages are saved in PDF format to make printing easier.

Ground Truthing Instructions:
Prior to starting their ground truthing, volunteers are encouraged to review and print the survey pages shown above. Additionally, it is recommended that volunteers bring the survey questionnaire. along on the ride. The survey results will be compiled and made available online. There will also be a public meeting in April to announce the first 2 months of survey results.

After the first 2 months of survey results have been compiled, riders will be encouraged to continue reporting on the MRT. Ground truthing results will be available online. Ultimately, users will be able to post their reports online as well.
